Alberta Municipal Affairs’ Public Library Services Branch (PLSB) has partnered with the Book Publishers Association of Alberta to make over 1,000 Alberta-published eBooks available to readers across the province. The Calgary Herald has profiled UpRoute Books and Media (an imprint of Lorene Shyba’s Durvile Publications) author and illustrator Rich Theroux in its “Our Town” series. Mr. Theroux runs an inner city art society whose costs he partially paid for with the royalties from his new adult colouring book Stop Making Art and Die. Read

We’re thrilled to announce that the BPAA has partnered with the Government of Alberta to make 1,130 Alberta-published eBooks available to readers across the province. Alberta Municipal Affairs’ Public Library Services Branch (PLSB), has invested over $200,000 in this groundbreaking project. The first of its kind in Canada, the collection represents 24 BPAA member publishers.
