December 10, 2026: Member Roundtable | Good News Stories
The Book Publishers Association of Alberta is pleased to announce an upcoming Member Roundtable on Good News Stories scheduled for Thursday, December 10 from 2:00 pm-3:30 pm ABT.
2026 has been a year that has brought a number of challenges for Alberta publishers, but it is important to also recognize and learn from the successes this year has offered. As the last professional development session of the year, this facilitated member roundtable will offer a chance for publishers to discuss their good news stories, how they made them happen, and what they learned along the way.
Each attendee is encouraged to bring one or more good news story examples from their publishing house from 2026. Attendees will be encouraged to share their example/s and any lessons learned. The format of this event will be an informal discussion, which will also be guided by the attached questions. The conversation will be facilitated by Luciana Erregue of Laberinto Press.
This event is free and limited to members of the BPAA and their staff (including contractors). Please register to reserve your spot by 4:30 pm ABT on Wednesday, December 9.
