The Book Publishers Association of Alberta is pleased to announce the upcoming webinar entitled Financial Confidence and Working Strategies, presented by Christine Hassay Kohler (NeWest Press).
Financial administration often is the area in publishing that is left for last as it can feel daunting, confusing, and time consuming. In this session, Christine will pull back the curtain on financial literacy. You will be introduced to basic accounting terms and processing systems to gain a better understanding of how your finances work. The session will also introduce key information management concepts and provide tips and best practices for their proper application.
This event is free and limited to members of the BPAA. Please register to reserve your spot by 4:30 pm MT on Tuesday, May 27. A recording of the webinar will be available for those who are unable to attend live.
Christine Hassay Kohler (she/her) is a full cycle bookkeeper, data analyst, and fine artist. She has a Fine Arts Degree from GMCC, a Small Business Management & Data Administration Diploma and over 20 years experience with book-keeping and information management for small business, arts, and not for profit organizations.
