Alberta Book Day was first declared in 2018 to celebrate the many achievements of Alberta-based book publishers, and the significant contributions they make to the province’s cultural and economic landscapes. As part of Alberta Book Day, the BPAA hosts an exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth II Building. The exhibition is an opportunity for BPAA member-publishers to meet MLAs and government staff and to showcase the diverse publishing industry in our province.
