October 4, 2023: Incorporating Accessibility into the Book Design Process
The Book Publishers Association of Alberta is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar entitled Incorporating Accessibility into the Book Design Process, presented by Laura Brady of eBOUND Canada.
Accessibility is top of mind for publishers today, but what does it look like in practice, particularly as it relates to book design? Laura Brady (eBOUND Canada) will share how to incorporate accessibility into your book design workflow. From print design’s role in digital accessibility to how different design programs work together to improve accessibility, Laura will share ways to create a consistent, effective accessible book design workflow that starts at the very beginning of the editorial production process. The first half of the session will feature a presentation from Laura, followed by a period of Q&A from publishers.
This event is free and limited to members of the BPAA. Please register to reserve your spot by 4:30 pm MT on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
