Media Release – Second Annual Read Alberta Publisher Catalogue

Edmonton— The Book Publishers Association of Alberta is pleased to announce the release of the 2022 Read Alberta Publisher Catalogue, a collection of books published by Alberta publishers during the current year. The second edition of the catalogue features 122 frontlist titles from 20 Alberta book publishers.
Alberta book publishers release titles in a diversity of formats, across all genres— from scholarly and non-fiction to poetry, speculative fiction, mystery, and more. This catalogue seeks to celebrate these books and raise awareness of the Alberta book publishers who tell Alberta’s Story.
“We intentionally flagged accessible eBooks and audiobooks in this year’s edition of the catalogue to help readers easily find the titles they want to read in the format they need,” says Kieran Leblanc, Executive Director of the BPAA. “Alberta book publishers are implementing born-accessible workflows, and we are excited to recognize their hard work in this area.”
The 2022 Read Alberta Publisher Catalogue was distributed in print to industry stakeholders across Canada, and is also available as a printable PDF. More information about the catalogue can be found on the Read Alberta Publisher Catalogue webpage.
