September 21, 2021: Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace

The Book Publishers Association of Alberta is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar: Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace with Tiana Field-Ridley.

In this presentation, Tiana will provide practical strategies to support mental health in the workplace. She will focus on the following topics: coping strategies for change, managing workloads and creating balance, returning to the workplace, and uncertainty during challenging times. Tools and resources available to both individuals and organizations will be shared. We encourage attendees to send their questions in ahead of time, but there will be time for questions during the webinar as well.

This event is free and limited to members of the BPAA. Please register to reserve your spot by 4:30pm MT on Monday, September 20.

Tiana Field-Ridley is currently working with the Mental Health Commission of Canada as a Workplace Mental Health Implementation Specialist helping to develop and deliver services to support employers with implementation of workplace mental health strategies that align with the National Standard of Canada on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

Tiana has a strong background in Mental Health, as a Mental Health First Aid Facilitator and trained conflict consultant, which provides a unique perspective to the team. She has a demonstrated history of working in the mental health and judicial systems in Alberta and is passionate about educating people about mental health.
