Media Release: September-October Alberta Reads Book Club Pick
Posted .
Edmonton – The Book Publishers Association of Alberta (BPAA) is pleased to announce that the second Alberta Reads book club pick is Watershed, published by Freehand Books, and written by Doreen Vanderstoop.
Over the course of September and October, readers will have the chance to win a gift card to the indie bookstore of their choosing by participating in online book club discussions over Facebook, Twitter, or through the Alberta Reads webpage. Further book club events and programming will be announced in the weeks to come.
We encourage Albertans to purchase a copy of the chosen title from their local indie bookstore. Additionally, Alberta public library patrons can borrow book club titles as eBooks for free using ReadAlbertaeBooks.ca.
Find book club questions, author and publisher information, and details on future Alberta Reads book club titles by visiting the Alberta Reads Book Club webpage, and join the on-going conversation of Watershed by following #ABreads and #ABbooks on social media.
